Ionic View

Ionic View makes it easy to share your app with clients and testers without using TestFlight Beta Testing or Beta Testing through Google Play. Just upload your app and share it.

Supported Plugins

Your app may not work fully when run within View if you have unsupported Cordova plugins or custom native code.

View supports a subset of the plugins found in Ionic Native:

View supports the following plugins:

Upload

Before your app can show up in View, you need to upload it:

$ ionic upload

Viewing Apps

There are two ways to view apps:

  1. View your own apps that you’ve uploaded.
  2. Enter an app ID that’s been shared with you.

Your Apps

If you are the owner or collaborator of an app you can simply view it from your app list.

Once you’ve uploaded an app, or been added as a collaborator, it should be visible in your app list (you can pull-to-refresh to reload the data):

Tap one of the app cards to bring up a popup with possible actions. You can view the app, clear its local files, sync the local files with the latest upload from the Ionic Services, or remove it from your account.

By App ID

If you are not an owner or collaborator, but you know an app’s unique ID, you can enter it to view that app.

If you have not uploaded any apps yet, tapping the “Preview a shared app” button will bring you to the app preview page. If you already have an app list, tapping the eye icon on the left side of the header bar will bring you there.
